Lake Tahoe Tahoe Beach Club Lakefront Residences SierraCon

SierraCon, Inc. is a general contracting construction company specializing in building commercial, hospitality, residential, educational facilities and ski resort projects in the mountain regions of CA and NV. SierraCon was established in 2016 by Joe Stewart, who has worked in construction and resided in Lake Tahoe since 1996. From September 2003 through January 2017, Joe Stewart worked for and operated as a partner of SMC Contracting, where he was directly responsible for executing over $500 million in successful construction projects in the Tahoe / Truckee region. SierraCon is specialized in the niche California / Nevada mountain region market where snow country weather conditions and the remote limited resources are consistent challenges. SierraCon regularly performs preconstruction services including estimating, budgeting, value engineering, design / constructability review, and schedule analysis from a very early stage on most projects. SierraCon’s role while under construction includes schedule development management, subcontractor management / organization / negotiations, budget tracking / projecting, quality control, inspections, and all documentation required to administer the contract with the Owner. SierraCon has successfully constructed or is currently under contract for projects in the Lake Tahoe region with Owners such as Vail Resorts, Hyatt Hotel Corporation, The Tahoe Beach Club, The Landing Resort, Resort at Squaw Creek, Ritz Carlton Tahoe, Edgewood, Mammoth Unified School District, Clear Creek Tahoe, and Presidio Vista Properties.
